Her Story
Amy joined The WealthPlan LLC in 2022. Her background spans portfolio management software at Morningstar and AssetBook, institutional due diligence at Deutsche Bank, and executive leadership at a non-profit healthcare organization. She brings deep operational expertise to every client relationship.
Amy helps coordinate onboarding, Schwab paperwork, account servicing, and client support to make sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Amy is from a small town with the motto “A Great Small Town,” and she’s a true reflection of that spirit—warm, grounded, and full of heart. She grew up surrounded by family, hard work, and the everyday lessons that come from figuring things out along the way. Her interest in business started early in high school with “The Stock Market Game,” which quickly turned from a classroom project into a real curiosity about the finance industry. That early spark eventually guided her career path.
As a single mother and the first in her family to attend college, Amy’s drive comes from wanting to build a strong future for her children. That perspective shows up in how she works—with resilience, empathy, and a clear understanding of how much financial stability can matter to a family. Over time, she’s grown not just in her career, but in her confidence as a business owner. Working alongside Dave encouraged her to lean into entrepreneurship and build something meaningful of her own.
One of her proudest roles is being a mom. She encouraged her daughter, at just 19, to start her own pet grooming business—something Amy proudly supports in her time away from the office. Outside of work, Amy values balance and genuine connection. She enjoys time with family, reading, painting, and baking cupcakes that tend to disappear quickly. She brings a steady, thoughtful presence to her work and to the people she supports at The WealthPlan.
